Frequently Asked Questions

Who is ERADOCATE?

eraDOCate is a Physician, Scientist, and US Veteran owned and operated business that is dedicated to safety and driven toward eradication of harmful microorganisms in environments worldwide.

What are E-60, EKG-60 and E-Stat

E-60, EKG-60 and E-stat are solutions of peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, designed and tested by the CDC and EPA to kill microorganisms, such fungi, bacteria and viruses.

Why has this never been used before?

Although it is true that our solution has been present for several decades, the concentrated solution was challenging to work with as it is caustic and rapidly breaks down into byproducts. We have developed a patented, closed system that delivers concentrated solution and safely dilutes it into a “ready-to-use” dilute gallon, that can be used in multiple operating procedures.

What surfaces can EraDOCate be used on?

Eradocate is approved for use on hard, non-porous surfaces including stainless steel, plastic, glass, metal, rubber, and painted surfaces. It is safe for use in gyms, schools, hospitals, food service areas, and long-term care facilities .

Does it need to be rinsed with potable water?

No rinse is required after use, even on food-contact surfaces when used at the correct dilution. This simplifies cleaning workflows and reduces water usage .

How fast does Eradocate kill germs?

It disinfects in 60 seconds for most common pathogens like MRSA, Influenza A, Norovirus. SARS-CoV-2, RSV, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella, CRAB, VRE etc…The fast contact time enables quick turnovers and minimizes labor delays .

Is Eradocate effective against Clostridioides difficile (C. diff) and Candida auris (C. auris)?

Yes, Eradocate kills C. diff spores and C. auris in 4 minutes on pre-cleaned surfaces.

Is Eradocate considered an environmentally preferable product?

Yes. It is PFAS Free and Resdue FreeIt breaks down into water, oxygen, and acetic acid, and does not contribute to harmful residue accumulation or resistance development common with quaternary ammonium compounds .

How much surface area does each dilute eraDOCator gallon cover?

Approximately 1500-3000sq feet conservatively.

Why is your product superior to other products?

For several reasons. First reason, our product is more financially feasible than other products. Second reason, from a health perspective, our product does not cause asthma and does not induce carcinogenic effects, CVD, COPD that the other products in the market might cause. Third reason, our product kills microorganisms quicker and more effectively than other products; for instance, the EPA and CDC have designated 4 to 10 minute kills times for quaternary ammonium and bleach products, whereas our product, after testing, was noted to have the fastest 60 second kill time.

Interesting fact: janitorial staff and other individuals using quaternary ammonium and bleach products do not have the time to clean a surface for 10 minutes in order to have an adequate dwell time to perform sufficient and effective killing. On the contrary, using our product, it is much more realistic to do a job well-done in 60 seconds!

*4 minute kill time for C.diff and C. auris.

What residues are left behind after cleaning with eraDOCator products?

Zero residues are left behind. As a matter of fact, the solution breaks down in carbon dioxide and water, and leaves nothing behind.

How many dilute gallons does one concentrated gallon of eraDOCator produce?

One gallon of concentrated solution produces 150 dilute gallons. 2.5 gallons of concentrated solution produces 375 dilute gallons.

Does it damage surfaces or leave residue?

No. Eradocate leaves no residue and does not damage sensitive equipment or surfaces, making it suitable for electronics, gym equipment, and healthcare environments.

How does it compare environmentally?

It reduces chemical waste, requires no potable water rinse and breaks down naturally. Unlike quats and bleach, it does not contribute to PFAS, VOCs, or endocrine-disrupting chemicals .

Can Eradocate be used with electrostatic sprayers?

Yes. The master label allows use in low-pressure sprayers, ULV, and electrostatic systems, provided they are operated according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions .

Is PPE required during use?

Minimal PPE may be required depending on workplace policy. Unlike bleach or high-level quats, PAA at ready-to-use dilutions does NOT require extensive protective gear, making it safer for staff .

Comparison of Chemical Hazards to E-60, EKG-60 and E-Stat

EraDOCate is EPA-registered and should be applied according to all directions on the product label to ensure safety and efficacy.
