These care environments have different services, but they share a need for clean patient-facing spaces, repeatable staff workflows, and clear boundaries between environmental-surface disinfection and procedure-specific infection control.

Havenwood Heritage Heights: A Site-Reported Operational Result

This senior living example shows how EVS integration, staff education, and a more consistent disinfection workflow were part of the facility's outbreak-response approach.

Facility-reported outbreak duration

31 → 14

days, comparing 2023 with 2025. Havenwood Heritage Heights reported 31 outbreak days in 2023, 22 in 2024, and 14 in 2025. EraDOCate adoption began in June 2024, with full-facility adoption in 2025.

EVS and care teams are part of the same operating system.

Environmental services, nursing, leadership, and care teams all influence how consistently a resident environment is cleaned and prepared.

The Havenwood example reinforces the value of training, shared workflow, frontline participation, and continuous process improvement.

Standardize

Use a clearer system for product use, contact time, training, and high-touch senior living environments.

Integrate

Bring EVS, nursing, leadership, infection prevention, and care teams into one shared workflow.

Educate

Important context: These are facility-reported observational results. The before-and-after comparison does not establish that EraDOCate caused the decrease. Multiple operational, epidemiologic, staffing, vaccination, infection-prevention, and clinical factors may influence outbreak duration. This is not an EPA efficacy claim and does not predict or guarantee the same result at another facility.
EraDOCator-60 is an EPA-registered disinfectant. Many label-listed organisms use a 1-minute contact time. The enhanced C. difficile, C. auris, and Poliovirus Type 1 protocol uses a 4-minute contact time at the label-specified concentration. Always read and follow the current product label and SDS.
