For these representative veterinary-relevant organisms, the current label supports a 1-minute hard-surface disinfection contact time at the standard healthcare use solution when the applicable label directions are followed. A related species, strain, serotype, or emerging pathogen should not automatically be presented as the same claim.

1 minuteAvian Influenza A

Turkey/Wis/66-H9N2. This is the specific avian influenza strain listed on the label. It should not be rewritten as a direct H5N1 efficacy claim.

1 minuteSalmonella

Salmonella enterica and Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium are label-listed organisms relevant to animal-care, food-handling, kennel, shelter, and biosecurity discussions.

1 minuteE. coli O157:H7

Escherichia coli O157:H7 is directly label listed. Do not generalize this claim to every E. coli strain or serotype.

1 minuteMRSA and Staphylococcus aureus

The label includes MRSA, community-associated MRSA USA300, and Staphylococcus aureus. These claims can support high-touch surface and shared-equipment protocols when used as directed.

A direct label-listed organism relevant to moist environments, shared equipment, sinks, treatment areas, kennels, and other hard nonporous surfaces.

This dermatophyte is label listed. Do not convert this into a blanket claim for every veterinary ringworm organism, including Microsporum canis, unless the current label specifically supports it.

Claim discipline matters: the product label is the source of truth. If a veterinary concern involves an organism not directly listed, use isolation, PPE, cleaning, workflow, and authoritative disease guidance without implying an unsupported EraDOCate kill claim.

Canine parvovirus

Use isolation, organic-soil removal, traffic control, PPE, and a disinfectant claim specifically appropriate to the organism. Do not imply a direct EraDOCate canine parvovirus claim unless it appears on the current label or is otherwise authorized by EPA.

Veterinary ringworm

Ringworm may involve organisms such as Microsporum canis. The current label includes Trichophyton interdigitale, but that should not be presented as a blanket claim for every dermatophyte species.

MRSP and other resistant organisms

MRSA is directly label listed. MRSP is a different organism. Use infection-control practices and do not substitute the MRSA claim for an MRSP claim.

H5N1 and emerging zoonoses

Maintain PPE, isolation awareness, environmental infection control, and escalation pathways. The label-listed Avian Influenza A strain is H9N2, so H5N1 should be discussed as readiness context rather than as a direct strain claim.

Strong biosecurity can address an emerging risk without overstating the disinfectant label.
